STABLE FIBERS – Nexcel manufactures both polypropylene and polyethylene staple fibers for many different applications, but primarily for needle punched non-woven products.  Nexcel produces staple fibers in a denier range of 3 denier up to 22 denier with cut lengths of 1/4 inch to 4 inches.  Staple fiber is available in many color options as well as FDA approved finishes.

Nexcel manufactures slit tape yarns, flat or fibrillated, for weaving, knitting and other fabric forming methods.  The yarns are produced with stringent specifications and are available twisted or flat on several different packages.  Some typical applications for these yarns are geotextiles, ground covers, high strength straps, twine and rope.
